6 Interesting Offbeat Travel Places in West Bengal

West Bengal tourism is now the number one choice for tourists in India. And so to increase the tourism attraction of West Bengal, the state government is constantly taking new initiatives.

Kolkata was the capital of British India from 1700 to 1912 during the British colonial era. Due to this, many buildings and other structures of Neo-Gothic, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Oriental and Islamic styles were built in Calcutta. And there is considerable variety in the architectural style of the buildings and structures of Calcutta. This diversity is due to the importation of European architecture and tastes to the city, mainly by the British and to a lesser extent by the Portuguese and French. Rich in literature, art, culture and heritage of these former ruling powers, this state is a great place to plan your trip. You can learn about the past of the state by visiting the towns and villages of West Bengal. Kolkata, Darjeeling, Sundarbans, etc. are all full of stories but apart from these, there are many other notable and popular tourist places present in this state. Places that are crowded with tourists, especially during the holiday season.

If you want to explore this beautiful state of West Bengal, check out the offbeat destinations that few tourists visit. Which are bound to look very beautiful and attractive to you.
